Freezing in Eldo/Walker Ranch!

The Eldorado Canyon-Walker Ranch loop is a lollipop loop  about 14-15 miles long, and we decided to tackle this on a very cold morning in December!

We arrived at the trailhead around 7:15 in the morning, the only car in the parking lot, which for Eldo is incredibly odd!

We wound our way in the freezing cold up the trail and deep down into the freezing cold hollow near Boulder Creek.

As the day went on, it got warmer, and we took a wrong turn on the trail, and eventually found our way back to the main trail! It was a day of crazy adventure, which I would expect nothing less of us!
